This holiday season, Aidan Levinson rejoins the cast of A Christmas Carol at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts for his third seasonal production. The show runs from December 17–28.
In the heart of Worcester, this year’s production is completely re-imagined — featuring original music by local composer Steve Gagliastro, fresh set design by award-winner Kelly James Tighe, and state-of-the-art projections by Camilla Tassi.
Levinson once again takes on the role of Young Ebenezer — a part especially meaningful to him, as the very first time he saw A Christmas Carol was on a middle-school field trip to The Hanover Theatre. That morning performance became a pivotal moment in his discovery of theatre and storytelling.
Reflecting on his return, Levinson shares:
“Being part of this production continues to be one of the greatest gifts. From the joyful shouts of student audiences to the heartfelt smiles of returning families, A Christmas Carol has become more than a tradition — it’s a reminder of how powerful and necessary theatre is to our shared spirit.”
This timeless story demonstrates the capacity for redemption and the importance of generosity and compassion. For The Hanover Theatre and the greater Worcester community alike, A Christmas Carol has become a beloved holiday tradition — one that unites audiences of all ages and celebrates the enduring magic of live theatre.
